Close-up photography = Zoom lens eyes

Other photographers tease me saying I have "Zoom Lens Eyes." I've always liked close up photography and I'm always looking for the essence or the heart of the matter. There is a big HUGE world that most everyone passes by because they don't stop and look. I love the patterns and colors of nature. I take great pride in going out and finding a great photo any time or condition of the day, regardless of whether it is a artistic abstract, sports photography, commercial shot or a portrait, my thought process is the same - zoom lens eyes.  What shows the heart? It's usually close up photography.
