Lake Crescent, nestled in the foothills of the
Olympic mountains is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.
Lake Crescent attracts artists, lovers, fishermen, and outdoors
enthusiasts from around the globe.
As part of the Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent (not Crescent
Lake) maintains two great lodges and a campground with 88 sites. It is said
to be one of the deepest lakes in North America and consequently has some of
the biggest rainbow trout if you are lucky enough to catch one. Be sure to
also take the short hike up to Marymere Falls.
