Award Winning Photography Trips

What makes these photography trips special?

Years ago I took a photography tour and the only difference between that tour and the regular tourist tour was the name. You could not chase the light, the schedule was inflexible to weather, you could not stop the bus and get out to take pictures. In short the bus drove you to tourist locations where yellow film wrappers lay on the ground.  They were merely tourist vacations put on by some travel agent or airline that offered a famous photographer a free trip to lead.

So in 1987 I started my own trips, attracting photographers like: Ken Whitmire (Photography Hall of Fame President), Ed Lobit (Vice President of Professional Photographers of America), Ed Kazmirsky (National Geographic photographer), Marty Rickard (Professional Photographer Magazine columnist and speaker), Paul Ness (Vice President of Kodak) Morris Grover (Lecturer and several time winning photographer of the Miss Photogenic Contest), Award-Winning Tom and Nancy Nicholson, and the list can go on. All went on to win awards with the images they took and most repeated trips because they were pleased & had fun. Were they all professional photographers? No, just had a passion for photography, a positive attitude, and a sense of humor.

After a hiatus of international relations and opening my own photography business I've returned to the best time in my life - REAL photography trips with fun-loving photographers. And what a place to learn more about photography. Expect a FULL day. (If you are not fun, don't join us. Ugly Americans will be sent back home. We are there to photograph & experience their culture.)
